Two Pinckney High School students have been arrested in the alleged rape of a 15-year-old girl.
According to Pinckney Police Chief Jeffrey Newton, Jacob Houck and Nicklaus Lefebvre, both 17, are facing third degree criminal sexual conduct charges in the alleged rape.
Newton said the police department took a complaint from a Pinckney High School staff member on Thursday, Dec. 16. The staff member said the 15-year-old was raped at a residence in Pinckney.
According to police, officers took a complaint, interviewed a witness and school staff member. After investigating, they confirmed the location and the identity of three suspects.
Officers executed a search warrant at the home of one of the suspects, according to Chief Newton. Police have also interviewed all three suspects.
During the investigation, both Houck and Lefebvre were arrested. Newton said they are not releasing the name of the third suspect because he is a juvenile. He is also a Pinckney High School student and police are seeking a juvenile petition for his arrest.
Lefebvre and Houck will be back on court on Wednesday, Dec. 30 at 8:30 a.m. for a probable cause conference.
