DTE Energy says 12,000 people now have power in Macomb County after losing it earlier on Tuesday.
According to DTE, the outage affected people in New Baltimore and Chesterfield Township.
There were problems with a high-voltage power line that provides electricity to the substations, causing the outage.
DTE expected to have the power restored by 1:30 p.m., and were ahead of schedule with restoration.
