Police are investigating after a car crashed into a store overnight in downtown Utica.

It happened around 3 a.m. at the Shamrock Gas Station near Hall Rd. and Van Dyke.

The car ended up completely in the store, and right now police aren't saying exactly how it happened.

Witnesses believe there were two women in the car, and the driver may have been learning how to drive. According to witnesses, the woman was trying to park it and accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake.

We do know that no one was seriously injured.
