Angry residents on Rhode Island Street in Clinton Township showed 7 Action News surveillance video of a thief on the prowl.

They say he targeted more than a dozen homes early Thursday morning.

The video shows a guy carrying a stolen computer, going house-to-house, checking for unlocked cars.

Neighbors say he stole everything from gift cards, to clothes, wallets, and computers.

He apparently wasted no time spending the stolen money.

Resident Nicole Booth says, "He should have been raised better. At this age, everybody knows right from wrong and we're going to get him. And he would have been a lot cuter if he smiled for the camera."

They also tell us the thief was at the store charging hundreds of dollars worth of stuff while police were at homes in the neighborhood conducting their investigation.

So far, at least 4 people have filed police reports. Right now they don't know if the man was working alone.

If you recognize the man in the video, call Clinton Township police.
