In Macomb County, the road commission will send out 60-70 plows through the overnight hours Tuesday through Wednesday morning.
Drivers who spoke to 7 Action News on Tuesday night said conditions on the highways and city streets were not good.
Most drivers were only out because of necessity.
"I'm on my way to work, it's taking me almost two hours to get to my work,” said driver Hani Yusif.
“Picked up my fiancé from the hospital,” said another driver, Dan Kasey.
Both said, stay in if you don’t have to be driving, because the roads are not in good shape.
"I got four wheel drive and they are real bad, so I don't want to be out here,” said Kasey.
