A fire at a DTE Energy substation in Sterling Heights knocked out power to nearly 15,000 customers on Monday afternoon.
According to DTE, about half of the people affected have had their power restored.
The DTE Energy outage map shows most of the people affected between 16 Mile Rd. and 13 Mile Rd. and between Groesbeck Highway and Schoenherr Rd.
The outage map said the power should be restored by Monday night.
