Michael Rosenmund appeared via video before Magistrate Daniel Goulette for his arraignment at 41-B District Court in Clinton Township Tuesday afternoon.

The 39-year-old is charged with Reckless Driving Causing Death and Homicide-Manslaughter with Motor Vehicle in the death of Julie Williamson.

According to authorities, Rosenmund, who was romantically involved with Williamson, called 911 in the early morning hours of July 10th.

When deputies arrived at the house on Dickinson, they found Julie outside, unconscious and nude.

Williamson was rushed to the hospital with severe injuries. Her family made the painful decision to take her off life support a week later.

Since then, Julie’s family has pushed for answers. They believed the mother of two was the victim of domestic violence.

An investigation revealed Julie’s injuries were consistent with being ran over by a truck, and her body dragged.

Since Julie’s death, they’ve used Julie’s story to encourage others to escape dangerous domestic violence situations.

Rosenmund’s childhood friend Sanford Williams came to the courthouse to support his friend.

“No way Mike did this. No way.” said Sanford.

Rosenmund’s bond was set at $300,000. The 39-year-old is already on probation for prior drug convictions.
