Man shot in hand, groin in Roseville following fight

Roseville police are investigating after a man was shot on Wednesday evening.

According to police, it happened around 5:10 p.m. in the area of Macomb St. between Church and Oakdale.

Police say a 50-year-old from Clinton Township was shot in the hand and groin. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

We're told the victim was outside a house on Macomb St. when a fight started between the victim and suspect. That's when the suspect pulled out a handgun and fired.

The suspect is described as a black male, 45-50 years old wearing a green coat with fur trim around the hood. Michigan State Police joined the investigation with a K9 but was unable to locate the suspect.
