Man arraigned in Sterling Heights crime spree

The man who was arrested in a crime spree in Sterling Heights on Monday appeared in court to be arraigned on charges Tuesday.

Treshawn Strong, 27 of Detroit, allegedly robbed the Vibe Credit Union on Van Dyke near 14 Mile on Monday afternoon. 

He was in court Tuesday on home invasion and arson charges. 

The suspected is expected to appear in Federal Court on the other charges.

He is accused of tying up employees at the bank, kidnapping a customer and forcing a customer to drive him a few blocks away. 

Police eventually caught up with him and arrested him.
