The man accused in a deadly motorcycle crash that killed a 14-year-old Roseville boy was arraigned on Monday afternoon.

According to police, the 24-year-old Roseville man was riding his motorcycle in the area of Demerick and 11 Mile on Friday night when the crash happened.

Cody Soucie is charged with operating a vehicle under the influence causing death.

Ryan Mannes, who was a freshman at Roseville High School, was playing Pokemon Go with his friends when he walked onto 11 Mile to capture a Pokemon. As he was walking back to the sidewalk, he was hit and killed by the motorcycle.

Investigators determined Soucie was drinking before the crash, and preliminary blood-alcohol tests show he had a blood alcohol content of .14, nearly two times the legal limit. Soucie will be back in court on October 26. Bond was set at $100,000 - 10 percent. If bond is posted, Soucie will have to wear an alcohol tether.

Counselors are on hand at the school for students who would like to speak with them, and there is a vigil planned for Monday night in Ryan's honor.
