This weekend a local supermarket is working to make Christmas dreams come true.

The stuff a bus campaign began, hopes to bring gifts to hundreds of children on Christmas morning.

It's the season for giving and what better way than to help out a family in need in metro Detroit this Christmas. You can donate toys and help to stuff a bus, bringing Christmas joy to thousands of families across metro Detroit.

For Nino Salvaggio store manager Frank Nicolella, Christmas is about the kids.

"Every child should get a gift," he says.

The gourmet market has teamed up with 96.3 WDVD and Moran Chevrolet to park a bus in front of the store, capturing the attention and hearts of generous donors.

"I have the time to donate to those who are less fortunate and I just feel like it's the season of giving so why not help out?" says Stephanie Hayes, who donated gifts.

There is no requirement for the gifts, just make sure they're for children and keep them unwrapped.

The gifts will be passed out to several charity organizations that connect directly with families in need.

If you want to help make a child's Christmas morning memorable and happy, help get the empty bus filled with gifts.

The Stuff a Bus campaign lasts until 6:00 pm on Sunday in front of Nino Salvaggio in Clinton Township.
