Thieves targeting Macomb County, hit 10 car washes in four cities last weekend.
Police say they did their damage in a short period of time, from Saturday night into Sunday morning starting on March 19.
These bandits targeted car washes in Warren, Fraser, Clinton Township, and Roseville.
Warren Mayor Jim Fouts tells us police believe these are drug addicts, most likely hooked on heroin, looking for a quick score. They're wearing dark hoodies and covering their faces.
Fouts' city had four car washes broken into last weekend. He describes them as smash and grabs.
We're told some of these break-ins were caught on surveillance camera and police believe they are related.
The suspects are not making off with a lot money.
