A Clinton Township family is left with hundreds of dollars in damage after a turkey crashed through their living room window Wednesday morning.
Loay Alkhafaji says he and his family jumped out of bed because the noise was so loud.
He called 911 and told the dispatcher and said there's a big animal in the house.
"I just see a huge wing. I thought it's an eagle," he says.
Clinton Township police were on the scene right away and informed Alkhafaji that it was a turkey.
The DNR says it's mating season for turkeys, so you may see more of them out and about.
