A well-known PR executive in metro Detroit faced a judge to find out if he'll stand trial on a long list of child pornography charges.
Phil frame sat in court and listened to the sordid testimony as a detective took the stand and told the judge what investigators found while executing a search warrant at his Shelby Township condo.
Macomb County Sheriff's Detective Aaron Hurley testified he began investigating Frame after receiving a tip that child pornography was uploaded from a computer linked to his IP address.
The case started with 5 counts of possession of child sexually abusive material. Prosecutors added more than 70 additional charges after investigators scoured electronic devices taken from Frame's home during the January search.
Frame’s defense attorney argued for the charges to be dismissed.
In the end the judge ruled there is enough evidence to let a jury decide the fate of Phil Frame, who once served as a spokesman for clients like the Macomb County government and the Detroit International Bridge Company
The next phase of the case will play out in Macomb County Circuit Court, where Frame is set for arraignment July 18th.
