A Boil Water Advisory has been issued for parts of Frenchtown Township after a water main break caused a drop in pressure.
The affected areas are in the Stoney Pointe Peninsula, Dewey and Pointe Aux Peaux Farm subdivisions.
According to the county, coliform bacteria may be present in the water because f the low pressure.
The township is telling people to let the water boil for one minute and let it cool before using.
The boil water advisory will be in effect until water samples show the water is safe to drink.
