A 6-year-old girl who was involved in a tragic accident at the Beverly Hills Club last week has passed away, according to the club.
We're told the girl was attending a birthday party on Friday, April 22 when the accident happened. She was immediately taken to the hospital.
“During this very difficult time for the child's loved ones, on behalf of the entire Beverly Hills Club Family, I want to share my deepest condolences with the parents and sibling of this little girl," President Steven Satovsky said in a release. "Out of respect for the privacy of the family, we are not making public the name of the child.”
Birmingham Public Schools will have support staff on hand at the young girl's school Friday for students who need it.
Beverly Hills police say they are still investigating and continue to interview those who were there.
