Both directions of I-696 closed at Greenfield

I-696 is closed in both directions at Greenfield after a semi-truck slammed into the median wall.

There's no word on any injuries.

Traffic is backed up significantly in the area.

In a tweet, MDOT says the freeway will be closed for "many hours."

E/W 696 will be CLOSED many hours. Detours:
