Twenty-five-year-old Christopher Mahla is now charged with 2 counts of Accosting a Child for Immoral Purposes and 2 counts of Using a Computer to Commit a Crime and facing up to 10 years in prison.

He is engaged to be married and has a child.

He was formally charged in court today and the judge released him on a personal bond, $200,000 - if he fails to show up for court or violates any other terms of his release which are wearing a GPS tether, stay off school property, no internet activity and no contact with victims.

Mahla wrote a letter of apology when this case first surfaces saying in part:

I'm not going to lie, I messed up and would like to send out apologies to those that were affected by this, including the school administration.
