Trooper Wolf was on duty when there was an accident last month on Dixie Highway at I-75. A vehicle towing a trailer made a lane change and hit Wolf on his police motorcycle. The driver, a 72-year-old man from Waterford, then dragged Wolf several miles before pulling over at Davisburg Rest Stop in Springfield Township.
Wolf died later that day at the hospital. He leaves behind a wife and four children.
