Grieving mother asks for return of baby pictures after her storage unit was sold

A mother is heartbroken after the only pictures of her daughter and all her belongings were sold from a storage unit. Her daughter and ex-husband were killed just a few years ago.

The storage facility sent several letters to Mandi Hendrick telling her they hadn't received payment for the storage unit since January.

The problem is Mandi says she never received a single letter.

Mandi Hendrick has been living a nightmare for nearly four years

Her 7-month-old baby Charley Lillian Hendrick and her ex-husband were killed.  Her ex-mother-in law charged with two counts of first-degree murder

"I've already forgotten what she smells, like what she felt like when she was breathing like sleeping on my chest," Mandi says.

Now all the memories of her beautiful baby girl also gone.

Mandi put all of her belongings in a storage facility at Caro Rental.

The company says she didn't pay for the unit since January.

"I had my brother go in and pay for me and he said he paid. I believe my brother,” Mandi says.

Then her brother called.

"He said um your unit doesn't have your lock on it," Mandi says. "Never got a notification that they were going to sell it."

Hendrick doesn't want her stove or washer and dryer back, just the precious memories of her daughter Charley.

"I don't care about the household stuff, I just the baby stuff,” she says. “If I can have that stuff back, I will be eternally grateful."

Mandi tells me the unit number was 123 at Caro Rental.  We called the business, they wouldn't say anything to us except the manager will be in Wednesday morning.
