LEGOLAND Discover Center Michigan announced it will be opening to the public on Friday, March 25.

The 32,000 square-foot indoor attraction at Great Lakes Crossing Outlets will host a special ribbon cutting ceremony at 12 p.m. on Thursday, March 24 before opening to the public a day later.

“We are looking forward to opening our doors to children and families who are looking to experience a world of color, creativity and imagination,” Hayley Anderson, general manager for LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan said in a release. “LEGO has a long history of encouraging learning through play, and we believe that our attraction will soon be an integral part of the fabric of the Southeast Michigan community.”

The attraction will feature millions of LEGO bricks and themed exhibits, a 4D cinema, two interactive rides and much more.

It will also feature a MINILAND display inspirited by metro Detroit's sights and culture. Those include the GM RenCen, Spirit of Detroit, Motown Museum, Fox Theater, Comerica Park and more.

Tickets for the opening must be purchased in advance. For more information, visit legolanddiscovercenter.com.
