Waterford Township police say a man was killed after he crashed his car into a daycare building, catching the car on fire.
According to police, it happened around 3:30 a.m. on Clintonville and Walton. The 36-year-old man was going east on Walton when he ran off the road, struck a pole and two trees.
He then crashed into the Leapin Lizards Daycare facility on Walton which caused the car to catch on fire.
Right now, they are still investigating but say there's no reason to believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
