Ronnie Bunker, 33, and his friend, Courtney Baize, 32, were seriously injured shortly after they left the Woodward Dream Cruise on his motorcycle Saturday night.

A white 4-door vehicle, possibly a Honda or Toyota, made a left turn in front of them at Perry Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The driver of that car kept going, leaving Bunker and Baize motionless on the street.

The crash happened around 10:48 p.m. and investigators are searching the area for any surveillance video that may have captured images of the wanted vehicle.

"The doctor said if they were not wearing their helmets, they would not have survived," said Danielle Petrucella, one of Bunker's close friends who had been hanging out with him and Baize at the Dream Cruise and took video of the two as they rode off on Bunker's motorcycle.

Anyone with any information on a possible suspect or suspect vehicle should call the Oakland County Sheriff's Office or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
