A Holly mother desperately wants her daughter back, after the three-year-old's father took her and never returned.

Michigan State Police are now involved, sending out an advisory to be on the lookout.

Alexandra Wilhelme says her daughter Vadalynn Owings should have been dropped off by her father by 10:00 am Monday in Holly, but both haven't been seen since Sunday morning.

We're told he's driving a 2012 Blue Dodge Journey with license plate DCJ4093.

Wilhelme tells us, "I feel lost. It's like a dream."

She claims Brent Owings broke into her house Saturday, using a key he had made without telling anyone, choking her, making all sorts of threats, before storming out.

She claims he's been following her and stalking, demanding they get back together. He would eventually take his daughter from his mother's house, and no one has heard from him since.

Wilhelme went on to say, "As he was choking me, I don't know what he was saying. But before that he kept saying if we can't work it - it's all over, it's all over."

She also claims her child's father never showed up today in Pontiac.
