13-year-old with autism found safe after disappearing from Pontiac

A 13-year-old boy with autism has been found safe following an endangered missing advisory from Michigan State Police.

Leon Smyth Sandoval had gone missing around 9:20 p.m. Wednesday on East Tennyson Avenue, near Joslyn and East Walton Boulevard in Pontiac.

Police say Sandoval is non-verbal and functions at the level of a two-year-old child.
