Leaders in Wixom announced a new store is moving into the site that was formerly home to the Ford Assembly Plant off I-96 and Wixom Road.
Duluth Trading Company says it will be moving into the property south of Menards and west of At Home, a home decor store.
City leaders approved the plan at a commission meeting Monday.
The new store will be 14,557 square feet and is expected to open in 2018.
Duluth Trading Company sells work clothes and accessories.
The 240-acre industrial site was home to Ford's Assembly plant from 1957 to 2007.
