The Farmington Hills Police Department is asking for your help to locate a man who police say was involved in a hit and run accident early Saturday morning.
According to police, a 22-year-old woman from Detroit was run over by a vehicle around 5:20 a.m. on Grand River near 8 Mile Rd. She was taken to the hospital and is currently in critical condition.
Police say they are looking for 24-year-old Terrel Johnson from Romulus. He is described as a black male, 6-feet-tall weighing 150 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
Police are also looking for a newer model red or maroon Chrysler Town and Country that continued east on Grand River. The van does not have a metal registration plate and has a temporary plate in the window.
Right now, police are not sure whether or not the crash was accidental or intentional, but police do want to speak with Johnson.
Johnson is known to frequent the southwest Detroit area. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Farmington Hills Police Department at 248-871-2610.
