Hazel Park police say a friend of a missing woman has been arrested after a body was discovered inside his home Tuesday night.
Jessica White of Troy has been missing for more than a week. Late Tuesday, Hazel Park police were combing the man's house at Hazelwood and Woodward Heights in Hazel Park. Crime scene tape was put up around the perimeter of the house.
White's family members say police told them her body was found at the home, unrecognizable.
The medical examiner has not made a positive identification yet. Police say autopsy results are pending.
"She will be irreplaceable," said Chris Hess, a family friend.
Family and friends tell us both Hazel park and Troy police had previously searched this home.
