Project Manhood, in partnership with the Southfield Chapter of My Brother's Keeper, the city of Southfield and Southfield Public Schools, will host the 2017 Youth Symposium for Young Men of Color on February 24 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the Southfield Pavilion, 26000 Evergreen Road.
The Symposium is an interactive mentoring program designed to help young men in grades eight through twelve to develop the skills and gain valuable information needed to succeed. Activities will include breakout sessions covering a range of topics, including: entrepreneurship, money power and investing, social media, conflict resolution, and college and vocational training. A keynote speaker will also address the youth and lunch will be provided.
