Farmington Community School/Farmington Central High School and Lanigan Elementary School were placed on a brief lockdown after a woman was spotted waving a gun along Grand River.
Farmington Hills Police received two calls regarding the woman. According to witnesses, the woman was walking along Grand River between Botsford Hospital an Middlebelt Road.
Police have located the woman and determined she was carrying an airsoft gun.
