One area of Southfield has been hit by a rash of car break-ins and vandalism.
Seven cars were hit at the Wellington Place Condos off Telegraph Road.
The running theory from police has been that a gang is coming through the area looking for opportunity.
Four cars had tires stolen. The others had windows smashed out.
Residents tell us they have not seen added police patrols and we're told by the condo complex that adding a security patrol would add to their fees.
So, they are hoping to get the word out to folks in the area to watch their cars.
