West Bloomfield police say they have arrested a suspect in the murder of Diana Pesserl, a West Bloomfield woman whose body was found last week in a burned out car.
The medical examiner ruled that Pesserl died of a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
The suspect has been identified as Desean Maurice Smith. He was arraigned on arson, felony firearms and open murder charges Monday in 48th District Court.
