Auburn Hills Police have released dashcam video of the arrest of Detroit Pistons Basketball Player Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
He was allegedly driving under the influence. During the video and according to Auburn Hills Police reports, Caldwell-Pope told officers he had two drinks and then water.
Some of the audio between Caldwell-Pope and police can be heard on the video. During one roadside sobriety test the audio cuts out.
But the police report says when Caldwell-Pope was asked to say the alphabet, he sang it instead.
Three breathalizer tests would show Caldwell-Pope had a blood alcohol level of .098 on the scene and .08 and .08 at the police department.
Caldwell-Pope has been given a temporary driver's license and is due in court later this month. He's still playing for the Pistons.
The NBA is watching the case go through the legal system and could issue a suspension next season.
