A White Lake Township man is behind bars on home invasion charges after allegedly trying to beat down a family's door with a golf club.
It happened September 12th at a home on Turnberry in Commerce Township at around 7:30 a.m.
"He has a golf club in his hand breaking down our door," said a man who called 911 from the home.
Sixty-seven-year-old Billy Ray Barnett was outside the home when the first officer arrived on scene.
Dash cam video shows him refusing several commands to drop the club. He eventually complied and was arrested on home invasion and assault with a dangerous weapon charges.
Barnett is being held on a $250,000 bond.
