Waterford Police are investigating the death of a 47-year-old woman, found dead inside a house on Ridgetop.
Inside the home, officers found nearly 20 animals as well, living in filth. Officers tell 7 Action News there were cats, kittens, a bird, dog, rabbits, and raccoon inside the home.
Police were called there by the homeowner, concerned about the woman from Clarkston who was staying there. No word on what caused her death.
Charges could come, depending on the outcome of the investigation.
City officials are working on cleaning up the house, so it can be livable again.
