The 45th annual Hash Bash is happening Saturday in Ann Arbor, and people will gather at "high noon" to smoke marijuana at the annual event.
Hash Bash around 12 p.m. at two locations. One is at the University of Michigan Diag and the other location is at the Monroe Street Fair on Monroe St. between Tappan and Oakland, which is just two blocks south of the Diag.
Speakers at the event are expected to include Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero, Rep. Jeff Irwin and actor Tommy Chong.
Last year, the Hash Bash seemed to be different than in years past. The crowd was bigger, and it appeared it was no longer a "grassroots" effort, but a political movement.
