Ypsilanti police say they have arrested four teens in connection to the attempted armed robbery and the attempted carjacking of a pizza delivery driver late Monday night.
According to police, the 55-year-old woman had pulled into a driveway of a home to deliver pizza when the four teens, ages 13 and 14, approached her.
Police say one of them ordered her to get out of her car. That's when the driver drove off and called police.
The driver gave a description of three suspects to police, and officers searched the area and called for a K-9.
Officers were able to locate all four suspects and detain them. According to police, they found a plastic BB gun and a set of Toyota keys in the pocket of one of the suspects. The keys matched a Toyota Prius that was stolen two days earlier.
All four were taken into custody and are currently at the Washtenaw County Juvenile Detention Center.
