More hateful markings appeared on the campus of the University of Michigan this week.
The graffiti comes just a week or so after anti Islam markings were written across the Diag.
Students on the U of M campus washed the offensive messages off the benches of the Diag.
They included more anti-Islam markings, as well as the F word - aimed at those supporting social justice. They were found Thursday - accompanied again by Trump 2016 markings.
The university refused to talk on camera about the latest markings. Saying it has yet to rise to the level of a hate crime, to warrant further investigation or action - meaning the free speech can continue unchallenged, although the school has made statements denouncing the content.
Some students, especially Arab Americans, want more.
Just this week the student government passed a resolution strengthening its support of minority students, in an effort to promote their safety.
But it appears the school itself has its hands tied to do much more.
