There’s good news for Ann Arbor commuters using US-23.

The two-lane freeway that is usually a traffic nightmare during rush hour is about to get a much-needed makeover.

With dynamic lanes, real time speed information, and incident warnings, it sounds like a large and timely project,

We just learned about the plan that could make a big difference for drivers within the next year.

Right now there are no good alternative routes for anyone traveling to and from Ann Arbor using US-23, so the plan is for the bulk of the construction will take place overnight, when traffic is light.
