Allen Park police are searching for a thief using a stolen vehicle to commit crimes.
A woman was attacked at a Dollar General on Ecorse Road, and a woman from Ohio claims the thief used her stolen truck to get away.
Marcia Franks tells us her family truck was stolen in the early morning hours Wednesday, one of three stolen in Fayette, Ohio.
She claims her truck was used in the attempted purse snatching caught on surveillance video at the Dollar General.
The victim was able to fight off the man.
No word if the same guy who stole the car is behind the attempted purse snatching 90 miles away in Allen Park.
