There was no etiquette Monday night in the club house of the Warren Valley Golf course, as residents and Wayne County officials squared off over the future of the course and even the future of golf itself.
Wayne County officials held a town hall meeting to give residents a chance to weigh in on a proposal to sell the public course and turn it into a subdivision.
Officials said the course has been losing money for years.
Residents argued that the course, which will celebrate a hundred years, is still a popular source of recreation.
