A Detroit man charged in connection to the murder at a Melvindale arcade last month was arraigned on Thursday.
Lamar Carter, 23, is charged with First Degree Murder and Felony Firearm for allegedly shooting and killing 44-year-old Sean Kay on Feb. 13.
Police say the shooting happened after an argument at a children's party. Carter allegedly left, then returned later with a gun, before murdering Kay. Carter then fled the scene.
Authorities located Carter in Alabama and arranged for him to be extradited back to Michigan on Feb. 26. He arrived on Wednesday, March 9 and was arraigned on Thursday.
He was remanded to jail and will be back in court on March 18 for a probable cause conference.
