Police say a driver who was being sought in connection with a hit-and-run accident in Taylor has turned himself in.
The accident happened Saturday at the intersection of Harold and Joan in Taylor. Two 17-year-olds were riding a small minibike when they drove through a stop sign and hit a pickup truck.
Police say the driver of the truck left the scene after the accident.
The two teens, 17-year-old Austin McCumber of Dearborn Heights and 17-year-old Martin Peter Jamie of Taylor were taken to the hospital.
Jamie has been treated and released. McCumber is in critical condition. 7 Action News is being told he is currently on life support.
The name of the 35-year-old driver, who is from Taylor, has not been released.
