Eastbound I-94 has reopened at Telegraph after a fatal accident.
Police say three vehicles were involved.
The situation began when one of the cars broke down. Two people were pushing that car off the freeway, when it was hit by the second car - sending it into the grass on the right shoulder.
A third car then hit one of the people who had been pushing the car, killing him instantly.
The second person who was pushing the car has been taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The freeway was shut down for several hours while police investigated the accident.
