The city of Ferndale is taking care of some ducklings, after they were found by a crew doing spring cleaning work along 8 Mile.
In a posting on their Facebook page, city officials say the duckling's mother had been hit in the road.
The ducklings are currently being housed at the city's Department of Public Works headquarters. Officials say they will soon be heading to a new home on "an up-north farm filled with ducks who'll adopt these sweet youngsters. "
