Five people are in police custody after a series of raids across metro Detroit into what officials are calling a stolen property case.
The case is being investigated by the Canton Police Department, with assistance from Michigan State Police.
Police say the case involved property worth more than $125,000 and has stretched into a four-month-long investigation.
The raids, which were conducted under search warrants, happened at various locations in Dearborn and Detroit, including storage units, a warehouse, and residential locations. Chopper 7 was over one of the searches in Dearborn.
The case remains under investigation and will be submitted to the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office for possible charges.
