Fmr. coach accused of sexting student in court

A former swimming coach at Allen Park High School who is accused of inappropriate behavior with one of his students was back in court on Monday morning.

Tyler Card, 26, is accused sending sexually explicit text messages to a female student through the app Snapchat.

The victim in the case is a sophomore and member of the girls swim team. Card was fired last Monday.

According to the police report, Card was sending the messages last month and even asked the teen to send him nude photos.

In court on Monday, he waived his right to a probably cause hearing and a preliminary examination of the accusations against him.

He is charged with one count of Accosting for Immoral Purposes and one count of Using a Computer to Commit a Crime. He is currently out on bail.
