Harper Woods police say they have arrested a Macomb County woman in an armed bank robbery on Monday afternoon.
According to police, officers responded to a repot of a bank robbery in progress, and were on scene when the woman tried to leave the bank. She was arrested inside the bank while armed with a knife.
Police say a dye pack also exploded inside the bank, which caused skin and lung irritation for several officers, customers and employees inside.
The woman also tried to rob a customer at knife point during the robbery.
A witness said she was running around the bank trying to protect herself and kept yelling at the teller to give her money.
