Highland Park police say the post office is back open after a bomb threat and a suspicious package were found earlier.
The post office is located on Woodward Ave. just south of M-8. Chopper 7 was over the scene as police investigated.
Police say a man came into the post office and said he had a bomb. He dropped a shoe box inside and walked out. It turned out it was a box of shoes. He is in custody.
