Posted

Michigan State Police are looking for the person who shot and killed military veteran Louis Perry on June 29.

He was found in his driveway by neighbors around 6:30 am after they heard gun shots.

So far no one has been arrested.

“I just hope they find them and they’re prosecuted for this because this was a senseless death,” said Tearetha Perry, the victims mother. “All this violence needs to stop, it has to stop.”

Perry’s funeral is scheduled for Friday, July 8. A few days after the service, he will be buried with full military honors.

If you have any information on this, the family asks you to contact the state police right away.
